Book or a Drug....No matter what u choose..

Hey fatso gimme a book to read yar...You know rt? .... I really don't have a reading habit... It itself should make me read.. what do you suggest... ( Harsha came up with a 296 pg. book Company Of Women - Khushwant Singh

Me: Whats so special about this one????
Harsha: Its for sure.. will make you finish reading :)
Me: What kind of book it is???? whats the story????
Harsha: Just start reading and you shall know yourself.

............................. (Finished reading it in 3 days)

I still wonder how I had finished reading it in just three days coz I never read any book completely till then unless its a small 20 to 30 pages pocketbook. I was filled with contentment. Its was the beginning I was always dreaming of. No matter the content in that book is definitely intriguing, still I never took any interest of finishing any book ever before this book.

I just understood I was really enjoying reading and then started reading from then borrowing few novels from Harsha. Most of them is of Shidney Sheldon. Then after a few days I wanted to read something better than novels, I started with biographies. "In Quest of Last Victory - Navin Gulia" the first biography I started with. The author Mr.Navin Gulia is recipient of number of prestigious Awards including the National Role Model Award. His book was an ocean of inspiration and motivation. I finished his book in just 2 days and I would say it is one of the best books I had ever read and the saga of reading biographies and autobiographies continued with the self help books joining the club.

These books what all I read takes me to another world. World far away from reality, no matter the kind of book I choose fiction, non-fiction, spirituality what ever... they take me away from where I am and from the state I am. The self help books teach me that I am human, Biographies asks me to get inspired, novels taking me to a different planet, everything far from the present reality. I enjoy every bit of reading, understanding the kind of book to hold so as to drift my emotions away. Nothing keeps me more smiling that a humor in a novel do. Nothing crushes my heart than the romance in a book do. Nothing makes me miss my dearest one more than the love that any book teach.

I now forget my existence with any good book and now love to stay in the state far from reality living with these books. I now confused to say its boon or curse reading these books as I dont find difference from a drug with these books. Both of them taking you to an imaginary virtually different world. Entertaining you till you hold them in your nerves. Making you addicted. Throwing you from heights to reality forcing you for another dose.

But finally I now opt for the book to drug as the former is cheaper and the kick in me lasts longer. So JUST BEWARE.
